About Pat Haley

Pat Haley

I see Art as a reflection of life. As an artist I enjoy observing and photographing people in their everyday life. I have been working on a series of paintings "IMPRESIONS de MEXICO" (Impressions of Mexico), I am impressed with the Mexican people; their culture, character and zest for life. I gather ideas for my paintings, by attending events or just while walking through the streets. I use my camera's eye to capture scenes that might provide interesting subject matter. I spend time looking over and pondering my images; then refining, extracting, amplifying areas and combining images that may become the focus for my paintings.
